Stand up for Jamaica is a non-profit organization founded in 1999 on the initiative of some volunteers from the Amnesty International Italia Group 105, with the main purpose of:
• providing practical, effective help to prisoners of Tower Street General Penitentiary in the form of rehabilitation programs;
• providing assistance to women and children who are victims of abuse;
• informing the public about human rights violations on the island.
